A well know alcoholic beer brand will be shooting a TV Commercial in Durban on Monday 31st October and Tuesday 01 November 2011. We need 15 White Males and 15 White Females aged 25 – 35yrs as Background Extras. You must be available to shoot all day and comfortable to dress in beachwear. For 2 days in mid December 2010, Prince Edward Street in downtown Durban was transformed to resemble a railway station in India. Durban was selected for the beauty of its building architecture, while London and Iceland were used as other locations for the TV commercial. Apart from some 100 extras selected for various roles, young Tyreese from Chatsworth was chosen for the Lead role and will have his face splashed across screens worldwide, when the ad launches on April 2011.

Not too bad for a holiday home on the beach!

Salt Rock on the North Coast was the destination of choice for a 4.30am sunrise call for all crew and cast. A magnificent holiday home was used to create the dream of one of the performers in the commercial. This location was one of several which were used to complete the storyboard. The advert is targeting schoolgoers during the Easter holidays, who are starting to consider their tertiary education.

"Daylight" effect to filter through classroom windows

Marianhill Primary School just outside Pinetown KZN, was chosen as the location to shoot a TV Commercial for Toughees school shoes. Several children from the school were chosen to be part of the action, with others being brought in to play some of the featured roles. Although it was a hot day on set, it was also a TV debut for most of the cast who all shared a memorable experience in fulfilling the Directors vision.

Passers by at the Heritage market in Hillcrest would not have been mistaken if they thought the tenants were picketing for whatever reason. Instead this location was chosen by the Unlimited Insurance Group for a stills shoot on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The shoot required several characters to be depicted, including a fisherman, a Sandton kugel and a biker dude.

A Sunday in September saw 4 fit young guys putting their shoulders to the wheel to create the TV Commercial that started showing in SA in October. The commercial required plenty of physical activity. Therefore the cast included Tyrone who is a South African gymnast

Every few months Dunlop tyres launches a TV commercial campaign which offers an incentive when you purchase four new tyres. The latest campaign appeals to both soccer and rugby fans where Alan and Thabo were cast as the respective coaches, urging their teams on from the sidelines. We shot the two coaches against a green screen and dropped in all the effects in post production.

Mom and Girls in the Mar10 issue of True Love magazine

A while ago, Thobeka responded to a classified advert in a daily newspaper searching for pregnant Moms. She was subsequently chosen by the client for a TV Commercial featuring mom and daughter, Limakatso. Gentle Magic continued to use Thobeka after the birth of her infant and the family is now used on a regular basis to promote this popular product. Their latest campaign has seen them feature in the March 2010 issue of True Love magazine.

After a lengthy casting process with Director, Madoda Ncayiyana of “My Secret Sky” fame, the final cast were selected for the shoot in November 2009. The location was in and around the Durban ICC. Although it was a long day, the cast had a great time and gained a huge amount of experience, many of them appearing on set for the first time ever
